The difference between chemical sunscreen and physical sunscreen is this:

HOW TO USE:

Every morning, apply evenly to face, neck, chest and backs of hands. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.
