The story of Ajmal Perfumes began with Late Haji Ajmal Ali, who, born into a farming family in Assam, India, transitioned into the world of perfumery after learning about the potential of the Oudh trade. In 1951, with just Rs 500, he moved to Mumbai and opened his first shop. Over the next two decades, he built Ajmal into a renowned perfume brand.
Today, Ajmal has a global presence with over 300 fragrances and more than 240 exclusive stores worldwide. The brand exports to over 60 countries and has a presence in select Duty-Free locations and international airlines. Ajmal continues to honor its founder's legacy with a commitment to social responsibility, dedicating 10% of its profits to charitable causes such as free healthcare and education.
